Oil Colour Sets (con't)
Alkyd Colour The 'Fast Drying Oil Colour' from Winsor & Newton Manufactured from pigments suspended in oil modified alkyed resin and solvent, the most outstanding advantage of the Griffin Alkyd range of colours is their speed of drying, which allows a painting to be completed in a single session. The clarity of the alkyd resin allows the full brightness of pigment to show when the colour is dry. The consistency of Griffin Alkyd Colours also makes them ideal for impasto techniques, whilst their luminosity and speed of drying makes them an ideal choice for glazing techniques when used with Liquin medium. In addition Griffin Alkyd is highly recommended for use on a variety of porous surfaces and especially for work that is to be exhibited out of doors and on fabric. Griffin Alkyd, 'The Fast Drying Oil Colour' may be used in conjunction with other oil colour ranges, offering the artist the ability to produce an extensive variety of tones and shades of colours.
Alkyd Basic Set
Georgian Oil Colours To maintain the economical uniform price across all colours in the Georgian range, technicians have identified high performance alternatives to the more expensive pigments used in artists' quality oils.
