Drawing Ink
Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution. These inks can be applied with brush, pen or airbrush and are widely used by illustrators, designers, calligraphers and artists. The major advantages of Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks are : brilliant colours, fast drying, water resistant, fully intermixable, easily diluted and have excellent adhesion on most types of sized surface.
The range comprises 26 colours including liquid Indian ink, a water based solution of traditional Chinese stick ink, the standard lettering ink used by calligraphers which is not water resistant.
Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks do not possess the lightfast properties of pigments. Work which is intended for display in lighted areas should not be executed with coloured inks. This does not apply to black, white and metallics colour. Care should be taken when using an airbrush to ensure that the ink does not dry within it.

Calligraphy Inks
- Vibrant calligraphy inks which are light fast, non clogging and fully intermixable.
- All inks have been formulated with carefully chosen pigments to ensure maximum brilliance of colour. Single pigments have been used wherever possible to make clean colour mixures.
- The inks have also been formulated to provide an unrivalled level of permanence and quality.

Drawing Ink 'A'
- One of the finest transparent inks available for use on engineering, graphic and fine-art paper. All colours can be intermixed and diluted with distilled water.
- Especially suitable for ruling and drawing pen and for brushes.
